Catholic Women of the Chapel

What is CWOC?

CWOC consists of and is for ALL Catholic women associated with the military and is moderated by the priest at military chapels. The organization's name was changed from Military Council of Catholic Women (MCCW) to Catholic Women of the Chapel (CWOC).

What is CWOC's mission?

To reflect a visible presence of Jesus in military communities by fostering and nourishing women in spirituality, leadership, and service. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, CWOC serves to enhance the relationship between the individual and Jesus, the Blessed Mother, and your Catholic Faith Family.

How does CWOC accomplish its mission?

By providing spiritually-enriching studies and programs which enable women to minister to one another and the community. CWOC strengthens the faith of individual members as well as the Catholic community. The programs will not only be spiritual, but also service-oriented and will provide every Catholic woman a chance for faith formation within our Catholic community.
